Technical Analysis in 3 minutes (or perhaps 4)

Technical analysis is the process of interpreting and using technical indicators, to make predictions about future stock or other financial assets prices. Technical indicators are a set of mathematical and graphical devices used to measure one or more factors that might affect prices in the financial markets. Common technical indicators used in financial trading include moving averages, stochastics, divergence, relative strength, Fibonacci levels.

Technical analysts use these signals in an effort to identify trends in order to make better investment decisions.

Financial traders are people who use mathematical models and computer programs to analyze financial data and predict future market movements. Financial traders often work for banks or other large institutions that provide them with analytical tools that allow them to trade stocks and commodities on a worldwide basis. But they can be individual non-professional traders too.

Technical analysis can be used to help identify buy or sell signals. A buy signal is signaled when a technical indicator moves above a predetermined level, and a sell signal is signaled when a technical indicator moves below a predetermined level. Technical analysis can also be used to help determine when to enter or exiting a position.

The benefits of using technical analysis in financial trading are numerous. Technical analysis can help identify trends in the market, and can help traders identify low-cost and high-cost zones. Technical analysis has been said to be effective at times, and to be less effective at times. However, using technical analysis is often a more effective way to trade than not using technical analysis.
