“The place to improve the world is first in one’s own heart and head and hands, and then work outward from there” is a relevant sentence from Robert Maynard Pirsig, an American philosopher and writer whose book “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: an enquiry into Values” has sold millions of copies. With a 170 IQ when he was 9 years old, Pirsig has lived an interesting live, including his periodic visits to mental institutions. Well familiarized with Hindi philosphpy, his sentence is one more expression of the importance of starting the change from oneself in order to project it out later. It is interesting that we should start with the most difficuly part, isn`t it? Good morning.
