There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.» This is a not well known saying by Albert Einstein, being such a smart person that he rocks us up with his thoughts about life as well as with his scientific revelations. What is obvious is that for a certain type of people existence is not purely vegetative and money is not the most important thing to look for (love is not to search for, it finds you). To Einstein and other persons like him, each day, each minute is a chance to be shocked by existence and its infinite capacity to surprise us.  It is as if looking around there is only mist but when it blows away, one can see a spectacular sunset preceding a bright night full of stars, Those sunsets and clean nights that take us off with their beauty and that recharge our batteries for the season. Let us be surprised ans let us enjoy the misteries of life and of our trading. Good morning.

 

We had an easy and quiet trading day yesterday, with a few PMIs coming out slightly disappointing but with no big impact. The truth is that most of the traders are trying to listen to the deep sound of the Fed and the probability of a rate hike in June more than anything else these days.

Asia has clsoed with contained losses and the European markets startes sliding down too but the card stack has turned up at mid morning and the markets are now enjoying a steady upwards impulse. DAX above 9900, IBEX reaching 8780 and the EURUSD falling below 1,12 to 1,1175 are good marks to attract traders and investors today. Gold is dropping from 1245 to 1242 ad oil is going down with the EURUSD as the dollar gets stronger.

Germany’s Q1 GDP in line with forecests, ZEW survey for Germany and the Eurozone and the Eurogroup meeting today to consider additional funds to Greece under their current bailout agreement are not important references but there is no need for them since today’s activity is significantly more interesting that what we have seen in previous days.

This afternoon we shall get new home sales in the US and Richmond’s Fed manufacturing index and later on in the evening, API’s oil reserves.
